Meet the Thornton Team Behind Servo Garage Doors Thornton
We’re a Thornton-based crew, not a call center that dispatches strangers from three counties away. Every technician who pulls up to your home in Thornton, Northglenn, or Federal Heights lives and works right here in Adams County. What unites us is simple: we write the price down before we touch a tool, we photograph what we find, and we treat your garage door like it’s our own. Marcus Deller started this operation in 2015 with one truck and a rule about paperwork. Nine years later, that rule is Clause 1 of The Haven Standard, and the team below is why it still holds.
Our People
Marcus Deller, Owner & Lead Technician
Marcus has been turning wrenches on garage doors since 2015, when he founded Servo Garage Doors Thornton after years working for a national chain where, in his words, “the invoice mattered more than the install.” His specialty is torsion spring systems, and he’s the one who double-checks measurements on doors with unusual track geometry. He’s background-checked, licensed, and the author of the 365-Day Done Right Promise: if a repair isn’t right, he makes it right. Off the clock, Marcus runs a flag football league in Thornton and is offensively bad at grilling tri-tip, a fact his crew will confirm.
Tom R., Senior Installer
Tom joined Servo in 2018 and handles full door installations, including custom Clopay and Amarr orders, where the difference between a good job and a call-back is how the weather seal meets the concrete. He’s factory-trained on LiftMaster and Chamberlain opener systems and handles the trickier side-mount configurations that some crews won’t touch. Tom lives in Northglenn and spent three years working residential construction before moving to garage doors, which he says is “the same framing, except the wall moves twice a day.” He’s the team’s de facto photographer, because his before-and-after shots actually make sense to homeowners.
Denise K., Service Coordinator
Denise is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m., and she’s been answering it since 2020. She’s the one who books the call, names the technician, and sends the on-the-way text with a face attached to it, not just a truck number. Denise coordinates emergency dispatch across the north metro, juggling same-day spring replacements in Thornton with openers in Westminster without ever promising a window she can’t hit. She’s lived in Adams County for 12 years and keeps the whole schedule running on a paper notebook “in case the internet quits.” Her favorite part of the job is calling a customer after the tech leaves to confirm the photo record landed in their inbox.
Jordan P., Apprentice Technician
Jordan started with Servo in 2023 and rides along with Marcus and Tom on repairs and installs, handling parts inventory, tool staging, and the photo documentation that every job closes with. He’s working through manufacturer training on Genie and Raynor opener diagnostics and can already bench-test a limit switch to tell you whether the logic board is shot or the switch is lying. Jordan’s the youngest on the crew, born and raised in Thornton, and graduated from Horizon High School. He’s the reason every truck is stocked before 7 a.m., which means when we say we carry the parts on the truck, we mean it, and Jordan loaded them.
One Standard, Every Job

The Haven Standard isn’t a poster in the shop. It’s four clauses, and every person on this crew works to them on every job in Thornton and the surrounding metro. Clause 1 is the flat, written price and written scope delivered before any work begins. Clause 4 is the documented photo record: the failed part is photographed before a quote is ever discussed, and the completed work is photographed before the truck leaves. What that means in practice: no homeowner ever pays for a repair they couldn’t see with their own eyes, and no technician wings a price based on how the driveway looks. The team trains to that standard, backgrounds to that standard, and is backed by the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If you live in Thornton and your garage door is acting up, call (720) 575-1024. A real person named Denise or Marcus will answer, and the technician who shows up will have a name, a face, and a clipboard with your price already written on it.
